Socialny Kollaider (Social Collider)
Summer in Siberia provides optimal construction conditions. Refunc utilized surplus pallets as primary structural material, configuring them into a Möbius ring, a single-surface form that eliminates beginning and end. The angled stacking emerged through material listening: analyzing structural capacity, site conditions, and functional requirements rather than imposing predetermined design. Each pallet retains its industrial identity while forming collective architecture. The Möbius configuration enacts circularity rather than representing it, material flows from shipping logistics to spatial installation to future transformation. For the opening, a fashion show activated the structure, bodies moving through endless loop. A sideshow expanded the intervention: pallet circle for gathering, car tire chairs demonstrating immediate material transformation, bowling game converting industrial waste into social infrastructure. Multiple circular systems colliding, transport, fashion, leisure, construction, all operating through function-shifting logic.
