Wonderbar transforms logistics materials into temporary bar architecture. IBC tanks become light-diffusing elements through colored illumination, while moving blankets shift from protecting transported goods to providing seating comfort.
The project exemplifies Refunc’s “lazy design”, recognizing that logistics materials already possess qualities suited to social space: modularity, durability, rapid assembly. Design intervention consists of compositional arrangement rather than material transformation, intentionally maintaining recognizable industrial origins while enabling new programmatic applications through minimal intervention.
