Tirendo Office Interior, Berlin
Commissioned to create an informal entrance area for Tirendo’s head office, pallet racking in logistics orange functions as partition, workstation, and reception desk. Car tyres are disassembled, tread profiles stripped and applied to seating platforms, rubber grip becoming tactile upholstery. Recycled plastic ground protection mats repurpose as desktop surfaces. A hubcap luminaire inverts from wheel component to light distributor. Jerrycans in yellow, green, blue occupy shelving as merchandise and spatial infill. Materials remain unmodified: powder-coated steel, vulcanized rubber, automotive components. Fourth-floor installation required a Mongolian moving crew to haul all components up stairwells without elevator access.
