PIXELPALLET STAGE

For the Newman Festival in Lithuania, Refunc constructed a stage from pixel pallets mounted on scaffolding frames. Plastic pallets with fluorescent tube lighting are shrink-wrapped to create translucent screens. A separate facade from lightweight pallets functions as projection surface, where external light creates additional graphic layers through the pallet grid structure. The shrink-wrap layer simultaneously secures components and diffuses colored light. The material system generates graphics without applied design: light composition occurs through the existing pallet framework, with colored tubes and projected imagery creating patterns through the plastic structure. Scaffolding allows modular assembly and height variation.
