Lemon Loft 148

Tiny Tea House

A silo becomes a vertical meeting structure for 10 people within 3 square meters. The cylindrical form determines the program: mobile terrace at ground level, herb cultivation on vertical surfaces, protected gathering space in the center.

The silo’s original function shifts without structural intervention. An interior steel frame supports the seating arrangement. Interior constructed from discarded bank archive materials. The question was how to make a real tiny home from a silo.

Developed for the Bauhaus Tiny Home exhibit in Berlin. Part of the SiloCity research series examining agricultural infrastructure transformation. The installation demonstrates functional redistribution rather than demolition.
